A powerful high RPM motor for high-speed flying wings, prop jets, or other planes up to 35 oz using 2 or 3 li-poly cells. Can also be used on helicopters up to 700 grams (24 oz) with 3 li-poly cells. Manufacturer recommends a 7 x 5 prop on 2 cells, and a 5 x 5 or 6 x 4 prop on 3 cells. We suggest propping for around 200 watts continuous power. Expect to pull 18 to 20 amps on 3 cells with a 5 x 5 prop. Use with a 25 amp or greater ESC. An excellent higher-powered replacement for Speed 400/480 motors in park-flyer sized prop jets and flying wings.
The motor features a 3.2mm hardened steel shaft, dual ball bearings, and has 3.5mm gold spring male connectors already attached and includes 3 female connectors for your speed control. Now includes collet type prop adapter and radial motor mount. Mounting holes have 16mm and 19mm spacing on centers and are tapped for 3mm (M3) screws.
