This ToonScale™ 1911 Nieuport UM is the second in the Great Race! series of micro model aircraft kits from Stevens AeroModel. Unlike the previous release (1909 Demoiselle), the Nieuport did not see action in the 1965 movie “Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines”. The Nieuport did, however, see plenty of action in air races of the period that the classic move was based on. With it’s quirky lines and smooth handling we were inspired to offer this classic design in our Great Race line-up.

Stevens AeroModel has engineered this kit to take advantage of advanced interlocking cutting techniques and specialized laser cut assembly methods pioneered by Stevens Aero. In addition to the high-quality sorted and precision cut components, this model has been tightly engineered around popular ParkZone micro electronics that are readily available from StevensAero.com or your local hobby supply.
