Author: Scott Stevens I put my Stik together in an evening's time and had it flying the following morning. It built up quick and easy, and it flies amazing! I configured mine with flaperons and it will take off and land in about a foot. It handles great in the wind and will land on a dime when there is a slight breeze. It is also capable of every basic aerobatic maneuver. It's an excellent trainer design upgrade from the GWS Slow Stick for a 4 or 5 channel configuration. This is a fantastic airplane!

Author: Thomas Arroyo a.k.a TeamTEOR I LOVE THIS KIT!! It is my second aileron plane, but the first one that flies right! It is fantastic at slow flight, and just as great with some speed. Since I was able to I set up flaps and now I can even harrier in for a beautiful landing. Thank you Bill! I give this kit a 10 out of 10! The build is fast, very easy (this is my second balsa build), instructions were awesome.

Author: Eric Jorgensen First "pile o' sticks" model I've built in more than 50 years. Went together (less covering) in less about an hour. The wing is straight and strong right off the bench. After more than a dozen fun flights, a "glitch" (generic malfunction) sent it climbing full throttle on take off and full throttle into the ground. The aluminum stick was totaled in 2 places. The wing and tailfeathers were unscratched except for a small cut in the bottom covering easily taped over. It was back in the air shortly after replacing the $3 stick. A wonder flying airplane and the SA parts are as tough as they come. I see an aileron Squirt 400 and Re-Groove on a future credit card statement...

Author: K.C. Carpenter Great KIT, great flyer. Makes the GWS Stick a precise smooth flyer. Only issues are back flips are not as easy. But all other maneuvers are crisp and smooth

Author: Randy Kennedy A joy to fly AND build! Assembled the wing and waited a bit before covering to just looks and the fit of the parts. Awesome! Would be interesting to have a Mk II form that would have larger elevator and rudder controls for more dynamic flight possibilities.

Author: Ron Smith Nice kit! With the stock gws wing mounts I felt it had too much incidence. So I shimmed the trailing edge of the wing up 3/32". much better.. I put the wing structure together in my LAP.. Way too easy. good job Stevens...

Author: J Kohler As a relative novice I have really gotten to like the way my little AeroStik flys in my very small field. As you of course know, it has great manners but is very manuverable. Good in the ever present wind too. Thanks. Joe

Author: D Colado I placed my order for the "STIK," last Friday night and Monday afternoon it was at my door. I cannot begin to tell you how impressed and happy I am with the quality of the lasercut parts. The wing parts practically jumped out of the box and assembled themselves. Just so that you know, I've built some tough wings in the past such as the wing for the Big Telemaster, and Bird of Time. You can be proud of what you do. Marty 57..........

Author: J Hinton Dear Sirs; I purchased and built one of your Stik kits, and I am delighted with the overall quality and I enjoyed the model's construction. I have flown it about a half dozen times and I believe it flies as well as a .25 size trainer but in a much smaller and less expensive package. I built it with flaperons and love the flaps for landing. I installed a Hi Max 2025 brushless gear motor on the lowest ratio with an APC 12x8 fed by 7.4v 1320 mah Thunder Power lipo. It can sustain a climb of 60 degrees or better albeit with some pilot input. I am also quite pleased with the model's wind penetration capability.

Author: E Corro I recently purchased your Slow Stik wing kit and was impressed by the design and quality.
The last time I built a stick wing was in 1984, a Goldberg glider, building your kit was a breeze in comparison. I did have to brush up on my cover skills but that was fairly quick and expected.
Good job, I look forward to working with more of your products in the future.
