The DoubleShot is a Speed 400 intermediate level laser cut sport model airplane kit. Styled after traditional quickie 500 racers, the DoubleShot makes a wonderful one-design racer. The design allows for smooth handling and superb slow speed manners. Achieves super performance from a simple brushed motor!

Thoughtful design and innovative beginner friendly features abound. Tab and notch construction makes building a straight and true wing and fuselage as easy as gluing your fingers together!

The kit includes a full hardware pack loaded with high quality Du-Bro hardware, Wheels, Plan Sheet, Landing gear, a detailed step by step photo illustrated instruction manual (finish and covering guide is downloadable from our online library)

To Complete the Kit: 1 Roll of AeroLITE– we recommend one roll of AeroTRIM for adding color to your covering design. The model easily assembles using Thin and Thick CA glue.

Required Radio Gear (our suggestion): 3 each sub-micro servos 8-10g (Hitec HS-55), one 3-4ch receiver (Berg R4PII), 3" Y Harness, and 15-20a esc (Castle Pixie 20P). Motor: Designed for direct drive Speed 400 power systems.

The kit includes provisions for stick mounting a variety of power systems, however we suggest that beginners take advantage of the GWS EDP400 6V direct drive system listed under the "suggested products"tab and use our suggested cradle motor mount (shock absorbing). Battery:  Thunderpower 1320 Pro-Lite 7.4v-11.1v
