*The lightest results, a 4.5oz Flying weight, will be achieved with the Spektrum™ AR6400 "puck" which includes an integrated receiver and linear pull servos.  The use of the AR6400 mandates the use of a Spektrum™ computer transmitter such as the DX6i, DX7, or similar and will require programing a custom mix of Aileron to Rudder at 100% to achieve the proper flight control arrangement.

For those without Spektrum™ equipment, the eHopper™ can be built to a 5.5oz flying weight with support for conventional 72mhz and 2.4ghz micro receivers (4g or less).  The only requirement is the use of JR S185 servos [JRPS185] for flight control.

Performance on par with the real thing! I love my eHopper. Visit JC-24c for Weedhopper history, drawings, and scale detail photos. www.jc-24c.com

The eHopper is a real joy to build, but be sure to read through the manual first. If using discrete servos, do not mount the gas tank when shown on page 22 or you will not be able to access the servo arm mounting screw. Wait until final assembly. Note that on page 29 the rudder servo is shown on the right, this is where the elevator should be, page 30 shows the correct servo location. I positioned the elevator servo arm 180d from where shown as it more closely approximates the original's location. Finally, as a personal preference, I like to build all sub-assemblies before covering, but what ever works for you. Now I'm waiting for a break in the weather to fly.
