The Wings Across America 2008 has come an end so I need to provide a follow up review. The SQuiRT has competed her 48 state tour around the USA. The SQuiRT that we used has been flown by over 800 pilots and has probably over 1,000 flights on her. The plane has seen a lot during her 5-year journey and has overcome many obstacles and survived all of them. Can you imagine what 800 different pilots can dish out on one airplane? She has been flown in zero degree weather and as hot as 107 degrees and flown at an altitude of 8.500 feet in Dillon, CO. Truly a remarkable plane. Well designed and very durable. Plus, it is an very easy build (I have built, sold, and built again 3 of them) for even a beginner . I can recommend the SA SQuiRT to anyone without reservation.
If you are ever in Muncie, Indiana, stop by the AMA museum and you can visit the WAA-08 SQuiRT.
Bill, I'm not easily impressed, but I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I received my SA SQuiRT kit today. Inside I found another apology for the shipping delay along with the sanding block and nice hat. Your courtesy and commitment to me as a first time buyer makes me feel like I walked into the local hobby shop and started chatting it up with my flying buddy across the counter. I do not have a big hobby budget, but you've certainly earned my business from now on. Thank you.

As a relative newcomer to balsa building, I must applaud you on the EXCELLENT, and detailed instructions with the Squirt 400. This is the kind of thing beginners need, and you've done a remarkable job of making this plane go together like a dream!
The SQuiRT 400 was the sweetest little flyer. Makes me wish you'd get into the ARF business.

The SQuiRT 400 has to be the best designed beginner's plane on the market today. It is incredibly strong and very easy to fly. Building, if you can call it that because it's more like assembling. It is that quick and easy. A newcomer in this hobby should not be scared to assemble this kit as a first time builder. The sp400 motor is an excellent match -no need to go brushless on this plane. As a matter of fact, I think it flies better with the brushed motor over the BL. Overall an awesome airplane. Everyone should have a sp400 SQuiRT in their hangar.
Great kits, great customer service, great times flying!!!
