Author: D Stephenson Bill, I'm not easily impressed, but I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I received my SA SQuiRT kit today. Inside I found another apology for the shipping delay along with the sanding block and nice hat. Your courtesy and commitment to me as a first time buyer makes me feel like I walked into the local hobby shop and started chatting it up with my flying buddy across the counter. I do not have a big hobby budget, but you've certainly earned my business from now on. Thank you.

Author: NoFlyZone on RCGroups As a relative newcomer to balsa building, I must applaud you on the EXCELLENT, and detailed instructions with the Squirt 400. This is the kind of thing beginners need, and you've done a remarkable job of making this plane go together like a dream!

Author: G Stephenson The SQuiRT 400 was the sweetest little flyer. Makes me wish you'd get into the ARF business.

Author: Frank G (WAA-08 Coordinator) The SQuiRT 400 has to be the best designed beginner's plane on the market today. It is incredibly strong and very easy to fly. Building, if you can call it that because it's more like assembling. It is that quick and easy. A newcomer in this hobby should not be scared to assemble this kit as a first time builder. The sp400 motor is an excellent match -no need to go brushless on this plane. As a matter of fact, I think it flies better with the brushed motor over the BL. Overall an awesome airplane. Everyone should have a sp400 SQuiRT in their hangar.

Author: Kenneth Maas (kjmaasiii@comcast.net) Wow, can't say enough good things about my Squirt. This was the first plane I have built from a kit and I was a little worried I would mess it up - Nope, turned out fantastic. maiden flight was yesterday, OK first 20 flights were completed. I was having so much fun I went thru every pack I had for it twice. I told my wife what I want for Xmas - a squirt 700 and a Lil squirt.

Author: Edward Butterly (edb61@comcast.net) Flying since July 2008. Perfect grab and go plane to take out at lunch or after work. After two years of hard flying, total damage consists a few broken props and some scuff marks on the covering. At 14 oz with battery, the plane doesn't have enough momentum to break in a crash. It just bounces. Will probably break down and order the aileron equipped wing one of these days.

Author: Edward Butterly (edb61@comcast.net) It will be flying 2 years this July. Other than a couple of broken props and a few scuff marks on the covering the Lil Squirt is as good as new. A pleasure to build. At 14 oz with battery, the Lil Squirt doesn't have enough momentum to break during those less than perfect landings. My glow plug planes are collecting dust because the Lil Squirt is my grab and go plane. No comparison between this and a foam ARF.
One of these days I'll have to get the aileron wing kit or move up to a Squirt 700.

Author: R. Barron I am pilot 180 with WAA. I very much enjoyed flying the SQuiRT. We had 10+ mile per hour winds with temperatures in the teens near Silverthorne, Colorado at 8700 feet. The plane handled very predictably and was able to roll out of occasional rotors that came whirling by. The plane is very well designed and powered very adequately.

Author: Frank G Just a quick update on our SQuiRT that is being used for the Wings Across America 2008 adventure. So far we have had our SQuiRT flown by 330 different pilots and she still is holding up strong. We have flown her in zero degree temps all the way up to 107 degrees and she is doing great. The wingtips have been re-straightened and some repair work done on the vertical, but other than I am thoroughly impressed with how durable this plane is.
And the pilots that have emailed me have all commented that the SQuiRT flies better than they had expected. This was certainly a great choice for our adventure and I know this would be a great plane for the beginner or experienced pilot alike.
