The Lil'SQuiRT™ V2 was derived from our SQuiRT™ S400 outdoor trainer. The Lil'SQuiRT™ features many of the design characteristics you loved about the SQuiRT™ wrapped in a gymnasium friendly package. The removable wing rubber-bands in place making it less likely to damage when crashed. The landing gear is mounted with a shock absorbing mount to smooth over those less-than-perfect landings. The large undercambered wing encourages slow flight so there is plenty of time for the new pilot to react!

Designed with the beginner in mind. The Lil'SQuiRT™ introduces the new hobbyist to working with balsa, covering, and control setup in a non-threatening manner. Beginners will appreciate this affordable design, simple single surface wing, low parts count, and self jigging fuselage that builds straight every time. The gentle handling Lil'SQuiRT™ will not spin and stalls are always clean, predictable, and straight ahead. Slow speed, wide flight envelope, and forgiving handling keeps the new pilot from trouble and the low mass, durable, all balsa construction makes encounters with the ground a non-event. Should you find your Lil'SQuiRT™ requires repair; damage is easily fixed at the field in seconds with thin CA glue.

Advanced pilots will enjoy relaxing low and close in flying encounters with their Lil'SQuiRT™ V2. The Lil'SQuiRT™ V2's retro old-timer design echoes fond memories of childhood free flight models. This micro indoor electric power system by Grand Wing Servo (GWS) gave rise to the second generation of small indoor electric models and found wide distribution in the Stevens AeroModel line of DiddleBugs. The "LPS" line of motor and gearbox combos was an ideal counterpart for these sub 3 oz indoor models and early low output LiPo battery technology. This motor gearbox combo features a high performance N50 class motor mated to a ball bearing equipped gearbox with 6.2:1 reduction. Suitable for use with 2S 7.4V applications using a 7x6 Slow Fly (SF) propeller.

I've been building kits for many years in glow and now moving to gas, but your models are making me have second thoughts about electric. The LilSquirt was great fun to assemble. The preciseness of the laser cutting is second to none. I put the whole airframe together in one evening. I'll be trying some of the bigger airplanes soon. Keep up the good work Bill.
