To complete this model you will require basic woodworking tools (a sanding block and sand paper), thin CA glue, clear tape, a water based urethane wood sealant or dope. Designed for JR SM8 servos.

Greetings all, I wanted to tell you all that we really like the A.R. My firend built his very similar to the stated design with a 5800 KVA inrunner. I put a small 2100 kva outrunner on mine that turns a 5x3 prop. They seem to have just about the same amout of speed and authority. Fantastic design and really fun to fly.

I'm the friend Randy mentioned. I first bought the AR as a home for an unused GWS brushed motor that came out of my Pico Stik. It flew great on that motor, but I wanted to see what it could do with a brushless. I bought a Feigao 1208425L, running a 450mAh 7.4 lipo, a 6 amp speed controller, and either a GWS 3x2 or 3x3 prop. It's an absolute blast to fly. Above combination seems perfectly matched, and I get about 4 minutes of pure fun.

I don't now Randy or Frank but I love this plane. Setup w/ Medusa 5300kva, tbird 9, 11.1v 700mah lipo, GWS 3*3, I'm not sure if I'm hitting 85mph, but it's rock solid and really fast. Sounds like a turbocharged mosquito buzzing the field! Now I just need to get braver and keep it on the deck.

Great little plane, and fun to build for me who has only built foamies and ARF's. My setup is a Turnigy 1230 4500 kv motor with 3x2 prop, 6A esc , HXT500 servos and 3 cell Nano 450. Setup worked great, allthough I didnt break any speed records with it.
