Tippecanoe free-sailing model boats are made in the USA of solid western red cedar, meticulously machined, sanded, finished (RTF only), and engineered to perform.

Expertly designed by international sailing professional Will Lesh and exquisitely crafted by Tippecanoe Boats of Washington, USA. These free-sailing sloops really perform! Nothing is more devastating than spending hours on a project trying to spark the interest and imagination of your youngster only to have the product not perform. You'll be amazed as your Tippercanoe free sailing model literally shoots across the open water sailing in a straight line, circles, or tacking back and forth (with line control from shore). Sail in almost any wind condition as these sloops can handle winds of 5-25 mph!

No intensive building, sanding, or difficult finishing. Tippercanoe free-sailing boats assemble fast as the hulls are pre manufactured and exquisitely machined from beautiful solid western red cedar. Sails are expertly sewn and ready for mounting. Keel, bulb, and rudder (T18 only) are pre machined, molded, and painted. Hulls come pre-sanded and machined ready to accept sails and hardware. Assemble in most cases is just 30 minutes! Optional varnish kits are available to preserve your model boat allowing it to be handed down for generations.
