Why Stevens AeroModel?
Aeromodeling is an educational hobby that excites our youth; building confidence, creativity, and life skills. Busy lifestyles and availability of pre-manufactured products have now offset what is arguably the most rewarding aspect of our hobby leaving a generational gap within the community. Time is our most valuable commodity and many would-be hobbyists perceive they do not have the time, skill, or resources available to build from scratch, plan, or conventional kit.
Stevens AeroModel was founded with the passion to inspire a new generation of model builders through increased accessibility to high-quality products that are the gateway to fostering a lifetime of creativity and enjoyment in aeromodeling. With laser-like focus on design, ease-of-assembly, and comprehensive instruction we deliver to the hobby community exciting products that ensure sucess for the novice and time constrained hobbyist.

This compact (75 square inch) micro radio control model airplane kit, designed for the ParkZone PKZ3352 ultra micro electronics; offers opportunity to fly both indoors, at the local gymnasium, or bop from roof-top to roof-top outdoors in the late evening lift.
Quality American components and manufacturing, our Playmite kits are derrived from only the finest AAA balsa and hardwood components sourced from state-side mills and cut in-house at our Colorado facility. Unique in this size offering, the Playmite features a double-surfaced airfoil and removable shock mounted wing enhancing both the crafts penetration and glide performance. Designed for success, in addition to every supplied part being precisely laser-cut and engineered to fit, the entire assembly is thouroughly covered by a step-by-step photo illustrated assembly manual; clearly leading the novice builder through kit construction, finishing, and ultimately flying the completed model. Your time is valuable, and we are certain you'll agree our Playmite (75) delivers the kind of time saving interlocking construction, detailed documentation, quality materials, and manufacturing your hobby investment deserves. Exclusively from Stevens AeroModel.
There's something about these classy polyhedral / pylon ships of yesteryear that just strike a chord with old timer enthusiasts world-wide. Though there were hundreds of iterations of the basic pylon design that circulated through the budding model airplane industry, most enthusiasts seem to identify with the Playboy which saw prolific distribution through Cleveland Models. Our Playmite design is directly inspired by this iconic model and, while reminiscent of those bygone years, offers a modern package that builds quick, straight, and true thanks to modern design and tooling processes pioneered by Stevens AeroModel.
